We had a wonderfull time in the desert thanks to Platinium Heritage Dubai, the team is great and the tour is well organized ! Special thanks to our great guide Mousa who provided us explainations in french as well ! Go for it without any hesitation you won’t regret it !!

It's simply the BEST COMPANY FOR THIS EXPERIENCE! They picked us up at the hotel at the exact time they told us they would, we had a very gentle, smart and funny guide...big hug to Mousa, our new friend from cameron! Also Cesar, from Brazil, very helpful and kind!Just a great guy who taught us a lot and drove us at all time during our time there. The company provided us with beduine culture, food and history. The price might be higher than the other, but they have a private reserve which makes it totally worh it! We couldn' ask for a better experience at a desert, DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Amazing experience, highly recommend this tour and Platinum heritage. From the very beginning the tour was informative and well organised. Half way through the desert ride, it began to rain and hail. Not many people can say they got rain and hail in the middle of desert before, even our tour guide was surprised. It was all part of the adventure. We were rebooked the next day and the experience was even better. The desert ride in the vintage range rover were fun. The highlights were definitely the desert tour and Bedouin camp. The whole Platinum heritage team were fantastic.

We were told that this company is not only eco-friendly, but good to their people and animals, which is important to us, and from all appearances this is true.
While Dubai's city vibe is second to none, we also wanted to learn the history of the UAE and this tour didn't disappoint! Thanks to Ali for a fun ride to and from the desert!

This was the highlight of my Dubai trip. Houston is an awesome individual who keeps you engaged throughout this journey. Great communicator with knowledge of the culture . This is an unique experience . Driving up in the sand on a old Land Rover is amazing . FYI the video came out exceptional . They use drone while you traveling through . Video and pics were delivered via air drop was also amazing usually company deliver video through website links and which ks so annoying . Forgot to mention group size . I had only 2 other people. Another employee jasmine also joined the tour and she was an amazing person. I highly recommend this tour to everyone

My family and I have a wonderful experience. We are very happy with the whole programme and the food that were fantastic! Nikki, our guide was fantastic as well. He was polite, funny and knowledgeable. We highly recommended this Platinum Heritage for your Dubai Desert Trip as it was relax, enjoyable and memorable!

We did the evening Heritage safari with desert tour on the vintage Land Rover. It’s a fantastic and out of the world experience - very exclusive.
Platinum is much more expensive than other operators but everything they charge is worth it for the exclusivity you get.
Our guide Emmelio was excellent - very engaging and welcoming.
Everything from the pickup to drop was super smooth. They donate a part of the proceeds to nature conservation for the Arabian Oryx and the desert.
The desert ride on the Range Rover, the falcon show, evening entertainment and camel ride were all very good. Food was fantastic.
We would definitely recommend this as a must do experience in Dubai. Ask for Emmelio as your guide.

The whole experience was amazing! Alot of activities, and alot of new things i learned about dubai overall and the desert! Also the traditional food was great and a plus for showing how it was done! A big thank you to Nikki who was our guide at the tour. A guy who really knew what to say and what to show us. We had no rush and we stopped for information and photos the whole time. Overall a really nice guy and a really professional guide who took care of us thru the whole tour. THANK YOU NIKKI! :)

An absolute must when visiting Dubai. Runnel and Hosam were our guides and their hospitality was unmatched. Highly recommend taking this tour if you are looking for an amazing cultural experience. You learn so much history and get to see the most beautiful scenes all day. Will 1000% be coming back!!

Best Desert Safari in Dubai

Platinum Heritage's Desert Safari is my most looking forward activity for my Dubai trip. I have studied the trip beforehand from Youtube and confirmed this Desert Safari is exactly what I want.
The activity is organised so well, they will call us for the exact pick up time. What surprise me is they even call us again to inform us a minor 5-10 mins late because of traffic jam which shows their professional services.
Our guide, Mauricio, is very professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We did not miss out any detail of the Safari because of Mauricio. Mauricio even shows us the science how plant grow in desert. He also gave us a bonus stargazing section which is amazing.
The food is sooo good in the Desert camp. The lamb is cooked soo well and I ate a lot. Lying down in a sofa and watch the star view with a shisha my best experience in Dubai.
The overall Safari is like a dream, the services is the best, it's worth every penny.

My aunt and I took the Platinum Heritage Land Rover Desert Safari and loved it! All details of the trip were superb, including the customer service of this company, the quality of the food and entertainment and the fact that this experience was more authentic than some of its less expensive competitors. We appreciated getting to see wildlife while on this excursion, as opposed to dune bashing. And we like the fact that this desert safari takes place within an ecological reserve. I'd recommend this desert safari to anyone, and look forward to bringing my son on it the next time I re-visit Dubai.

Slick operation, not great for photographers

This is a very slick, well run experience, but for our group there were a few things which detracted from the product. Firstly, there was a significant emphasis on how sustainable the company was, and whilst driving on roads is far more sustainable than dune-bashing, we felt the "free gifts" were exactly the opposite of sustainable. Each client gets a headscarf, and for the men they are unlikely to wear again (yes, could be used as a table cloth, but I bet most get put in a cupboard or dumped in the hotel in Dubai to make way for shopping, and we don't need 3 tablecloths...). In addition rather than plastic water bottles, each client gets a black thermally insulated steel bottle. Our family of 4 had 4 to bring home. Again I bet many get dumped in hotels, and being black they are completely impractical for their stated purposes if you live in a hot country (where the thermal insulation is most useful). Perhaps changing the design to black text on white, and encouraging guests to bring their own with the Heritage Prestige branded one an option, and providing an option for guests who don't intend to take the waterbottle back to wherever they are going to responsibly recycle and leave at the camp (who could find a steel recylcing facility) rather than chuck it in a mixed bin in a hotel room would enhance sustainability.
This is a big operation, with ~ 20 landrovers driving in convoy. One of us is a photographer, and the opportunities for photography were very limited as it was not possible to stop, as we would hold up the landrover behind us. It did feel like we were being purposefully prevented from taking photos so that we buy the photo package at the end of the tour - the company had a bunch of photographers and a drone taking video.
We had a good time, but would have preferred to have fewer gifts and more time in the desert, but I guess this is a very "Dubai" way of doing things.
